According to the official statement made by SharpLink Gaming, the company announced that it has signed a definitive agreement with the Ethereum Foundation ( “EF” ) for SharpLink to purchase 10,000 ETH for $25,723,680 on the Ethereum mainnet.

The purchase price per ETH was $2,572.37, and the transaction took place on July 10, 2025.

SharpLink Chairman of the Board, Ethereum Co-Founder Joseph Lubin stated the following regarding the purchase transaction of 10,000 ETH:

“We are proud to support the long-term strength of the network and its mission of decentralization at a time when Ethereum has entered a new era in terms of institutional adoption.”
